Frequently Asked

Do you offer monthly memberships?

Yes! Our DibFit Unlimited Membership offers unlimited classes, the option two bring two guests per month, and access to member-only classes.

Do DibFit classes expire?

Yes, please see the expiration information before purchasing. Single classes expire after a month, while larger class packs go up to a year.  Purchased classes cannot be transferred from one person to another. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Debit is accepted in the studio.

What is your cancellation policy?

5PM the evening before your class. However, we understand that life happens sometimes and if you need to cancel after 5PM, please let us know at cycle@dibfit.com. Private class bookings require a 50% non refundable deposit. Private classes are non refundable if they are cancelled within two weeks of the ride.

Do you have DibFit gift cards?

Yes, we do! You can purchase a gift certificate online or at Vancouver studio location, perfect for anyone looking to join an invigorating indoor spin class or explore our spin studio offerings.

What if I'm new to fitness/spin and can't keep up?

One of the best things about indoor cycling is that it can be adapted to any fitness level! With the ability to adjust the resistance level on the bike, the workout can suit each rider’s abilities. Every spin class you take will increase your confidence and strength! At DibFit, we encourage first-timers to go at their own pace, to not compare themselves to others, and just have fun! We do recommend first-time riders go in the back row to get the lay of the land and to have someone to follow in front of them.

The class I want to take is full! What do I do?

If your selected class is full, join the waitlist. In order to sign up to a waitlist, you must have an available DibFit credit that will get redeemed at the time of sign up (you will not be able to use the same credit to book another class).>12 HOURS BEFORE THE CLASS.
If a bike opens up, you will be automatically added into the class, and will receive an email notification. No confirmation is required by the client. The standard cancellation policy will be in <12 HOURS BEFORE THE CLASS.
Riders still on the waitlist 12 hours and less prior to class will only be notified by phone call if a bike opens up. Please be ready. If the rider cannot be reached or decides to not take the bike, they will NOT be charged. If the rider does confirm to be added into the class,
but is a no show, standard cancellation policy will apply.
If we cannot get a hold of the rider, we will move on to the next person on the waitlist.

How many calories do I burn in a DibFit Class?

It depends on the weight of the individual and the amount of exertion used. Research indicates that, on average, indoor cycling can burn 500–700 calories in a vigorous 45-minute workout. We should note that DibFit does not focus on weight loss to motivate riders!
We believe that fitness should never be used to punish your body, but rather to strengthen it!

I'm pregnant! Can I still take a DibFit class?

We have had many pregnant women who are able to ride right up until their due date, but it is important you check with your doctor before riding at DibFit.

The seats are so uncomfortable!

As a beginner, the bike and bike seat require a little getting used to. During this phase, it sometimes helps to wear padded bike shorts or use a cushioned gel seat. In a short period of time, you likely will not need either.

Do you have a locker room?

Yes! We offer convenient lockers with built-in, easy-to-use locks.

We also have separate changing rooms, complete with toiletries and a single shower ensuring a comfortable experience before and after your spin class!

Do you offer water, or do I need to bring my own?

We sell water in the studio. We also have filtered water fountains if you need to fill up.

What are the DibFit Studio rules?

All riders must sign a waiver prior to their first ride. Please note that our classes are taught in darkened rooms and often have bright/flashing lights. If you have a medical concern/problem or health related question, please consult with your GP/physician before participating.
We reserve the right to release any bikes that are not signed in for 4-minutes before a class begins. In order to hold the bike, we ask that riders call the studio to let us know they are on their way if they are running late. The front desk will hold a bike for up to 10 minutes after class begins, though we cannot guarantee the rider will be given the bike they signed up for.
Riders who are more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted into class.
In order to cancel a class reservation and return it to your account, you must unreserve by 5PM the night prior to the class. If a rider does not cancel their bike they will be charged for it. Riders can cancel by logging into their profile online or calling any studio directly.
We are not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen at our studios.
If a rider is planning on leaving class early, we ask that they please tell the instructor.

Do I need to create an account to take class?

Yes. It’s important for us to know who’s riding with us and to have your contact information. Adult riders can create an account online, in studio, or by calling a studio. Riders under 18 can create an account in studio provided their parent or guardian is present.

How early should I arrive for class?

If it’s your first time with us, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your class. Please note, that if you have not signed in 4 minutes before the class starts, your bike may be released. If you are running late, please give the studio a call and we will do our best for you!
Note that due to COVID-19 safety concerns, there will be no late entry allowed. Once the studio door closes and class starts, we will not be able to let any additional riders in.

What do I wear to class?

We suggest sporting a tee or tank on top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom for your indoor spin class.

What happens when I arrive at DibFit Cycle?

When you arrive at our Vancouver spin studio, check in with the front desk. The staff will help you sign-in for your bike, give you a tour of the studio, and set up your bike with you!
